Born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, Tristan Smith is an Editor, Cinematographer & Videographer based in Cape Town South Africa. His style stems from the love of nature, the outdoors and a passion for working with people. Tristan graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Design, minoring in Animation, intergrating the fundimental skills learnt in the design space, into his world of video.   

In March 2024 Tristan was on tour shooting for Grammy award winning artist Burna Boy, on his North America “I Told Them” tour.   

Over the past six years, Tristan has worked in a variety of spaces within the industry such as fashion, corporate as well as commercial, and has been fortunate enough to work with some industry leading clients.
